My little Elise is now 5 years old and all she wanted for her birthday was a Cowgirl party. So since this is an "even" year she got it! I get so into birthdays I love them and I really want my kids to remember that we loved to celebrate them. First we had a party with Grandma Pam and Grandpa Bud on her actual birthday cause they weren't gonna be in town later. Then she invited all her girlfriends to the cowgirl party and we had horse races and all the girls won blue ribbons, we panned for gold and made nap sacks full of candy. I had never seen her get so excited for all her friends to be there. It was too fun!!!
P.S. Connor did start the day off wearing pants, but went to free fishing day with his dad and came home smelling like fish so bad that I couldn't put his clothes back on him after a lengthy shower, so we opted for naked cowboy.

Ellie turned 5. 5 is an odd number. So this isn't and "even" year birthday. Maybe 5 will be an "even" number when you can take a cruise to Nauvoo.
Oh my sister, you think you are so funny. Had you payed more attention to my wording, you might have noticed that I said even YEAR. I don't go by the number they are turning, but by the YEAR. It is 2008! An EVEN YEAR.
