Ellie bellie

We recently had our first parent teacher conference!!
I realize this is nothing big but it was so fun for Scott and I to sit down and talk to Ellie's teacher....as a parent and not a student. (I hated these in High School...hummm can't imagine why?) Anyway I just had to write about this story so I wouldn't forget it. Her teacher said Ellie is so funny and cracks her up all day, she loves to draw (especially our house..I swear she brings home 5 drawings of or house a week) and she also said...which came as no surprise here.."This girl loves to SING!!" She sings on the playground, at lunch and even in the bathroom.

She also told us that a few weeks ago a little boy came up and said that Ellie had said the "B" word. Her teacher really didn't think that Ellie would say such a word so she asked him what the word actually was. Sure enough he said the actual "B" word. So the teacher went to Ellie and said " Ellie, what did you say?" Ellie said...(and please ..in your head use the most high school musical, valley girl voice) " I said Bitchaw Whatever....that isn't a bad word, just a sound, you can't get in trouble for a sound!"

I almost died...where does she hear this stuff! Funny, funny!

Wedding picture Palooza!!

Lauren got married last Saturday. And I know I am her sister and would say nice things no matter what, but I have to say that her wedding and reception were by far one of the best I have ever been to. She was married in the Bountiful temple on a beautiful warm day and was married by one of the funniest/craziest temple sealers I have ever come across. I have to say I had never audibly laughed in the Celestial room before. Anyway, her reception was in Logan and was on the property of the Mayor of North Logan's historic homestead, they usually have Art On The Lawn there every year and nothing else but Stratons mom knew the owner and pulled some strings. It was a beautiful outdoor reception with great food, dancing (even Connor and Bryn got there groove on), Chinese lanterns, and a Jazz band. Straton is an EMT/ volunteer firefighter so at the end of the night he arranged for a fire truck to pick them up and take them away.My kids are still talking about it. Lauren was as beautiful as ever and we love Straton so much. The whole week was just unforgettable! We love you Auntie Laur Laur and Uncle Strat.

Back in Logan

Julie and I drove with all of our kids (minus Ellie who stayed with Daddy for school) back to Logan last week. The kids actually did pretty good. Well I wouldn't know really I drove the whole way and made a big pregnant Julie jump back an forth over the seats to take care of them so...yea I had a great trip.

I'll post wedding pictures too I just wanted to post some of the fun things we got to do in between wedding plans. Going to parks, looking at worms, taking pink bubble baths in Nana's tub and homemade dinosaur pancakes!!

Piggies!

Macie finally has enough hair for pig tails and I just had to get a picture of it!

Bag Lady

So I have been on a bag making kick lately! Nicole and I found a super cute pattern and we went to work. I don't have pictures of her's but there on her blog. SO CUTE!! Then I came home and went crazy...I have made 3 new bags. This one is the first one I made and then I tryed to make my own smaller pattern and made the little one for my niece Kira. I will have to post the last one I made later they were so fun to make. K, Nicole on to the next pattern.
