Trashy shows!!!

So I was talking with a couple of my friends the other night about what kind of junk/crap shows that we secretly watch. I have to say I love to watch award shows, it is my downfall and my Dad reprimands me every time I do it! Anyway, I came across a show on the WE channel called Toddlers and Tiaras! I think this one takes the cake. It is sooooo crazy ridiculous! I feel so bad for the sweet little girls that are put through all of that. The episode that I watched (couldn't turn the channel, it was like watching a train wreck) a mother was forcing her 3 year old little girl into a spray tan machine and she was screaming the whole time. Then she preceded to put a "flipper" in her mouth (fake teeth)
and about a 1/2 pound of make up and made her parade around for a panel of middle aged men!! What are people thinking?
YIKES

Bunko and a special visitor.....

We had Bunko last week and it was Hawaiian themed! Way fun! We had Hawaiian haystacks and Pina Coladas, and far too much chocolate!!

We had some new sub's and 3 "Bunko Virgins."

But the best part of the night was our special visitor, that's right ladies, Edward Cullen himself!!!
Thanks to our Twilight fanatic, Christy, he might be a permanent fixture to our ladies night!

Aarrrrr!!

Connor's passion lately is his Pirate set. I have been shot with a cannon in the rear probably 100 times today, but totally worth it! He loves it, thanks Heather!!

Fancy Nancy!

While at the Children's museum last week, my friend pointed to Macie, who was walking around with a shopping bag up on her little shoulder, and asked if she was a purse girl? It had never really occurred to me, but Macie is ALWAYS wearing a purse. I love that she is such a girly girl. So, I had to put in these pictures of her around the house with her "peetty purse".

We LOVE our teachers!!

Ellie was more than excited to give her teacher a Valentine last week. So when I asked what she wanted to give her she thought for a minute and then told me that "Every girl needs a necklass!" So we made her one!

The Amazing Hubb's!!

I am always surprised by how much work and thought my husband puts into date nights for me, or surprise gifts, and even just making sure I have a lot of "girlfriend" time every week. I love him so much and I never seem to quite measure up to him in that department. For example, our Valentines weekend started out on Friday with a nice Adults only ward party. It was great, from the food to the entertainment and we both really got to relax! Since I had a Primary Party on Saturday, I figured we would just spend a quiet night at home for Valentines Day. But, when I got home the house was clean, and when I asked what was going on I got the "I can't tell you". Much to my surprise, Scott had invited our friends over, and the boys made the girls dinner. When dinner was served, and I saw the little smile on his face I realized it was the same dinner he had made for one of our first Valentines dinners together. Lobster, my favorite potatoes, french bread, salad and asparagus. It was a great night with a lot of fun boxing it up on the Wii. I love you Scotty!

Jump N' Jax!

A girl I went to high school with just opened a kids Bounce House type place here in K-Town! It has big inflatable jump toys and a toddler area, my kids love it! And if it weren't for the 3 hour long Denny's excursion (freezing, starving kid's) right before Jump N' Jax it would have been a perfect day!
Sorry to JB and that total stranger little girl that Connor attacked! ;(

Channelling Tina Fey

So this last year my eyesight has rapidly been deteriorating. My left eye in particular and I had to get new glasses. Sadly, I was on my last pair of contacts too and our insurance will only cover one this year. So since I really shouldn't be wearing contacts anyway I opted for the glasses! So for me this is "The year of the Glasses"

flowers and chicks

Fun shirts I made for my friends little girl! Gonna start selling them over at The Dress-up Drawer!

1st BIG cut!

Ellie had been asking for days when she could get her hair cut and I kinda blew it off thinking it would pass. But she persisted and I finally caved! She had only been trimmed before and so this was a HUGE step for me! But we love it and her Daddy loves it even more!
