So, I have to give a little shout out to the best preschool ever!! My friend Sara Davis is the founder of Lil' Scholars Academy here in Klamath. We put Ellie in it last year and WOW. Now that Ellie has started kindergarten both of her teachers have commented on how well and how much she already knew. ( I say both teachers because Ellie has been switched to a new class, a Kindergarten -1st grade split class) And it isn't just Ellie, 2 other mothers of Sara's last years class have mentioned to me that there child's teacher has said "Whoever they went to preschool through did a great job" Sara is just the best teacher and the kids have fun learning. Ellie started Kindergarten this last week and despite the moments of choking back the tears I was honestly excited for her. She is so ready and she has loved every minute of it. She loves her teacher..cause she is "totally cool" and her new favorite thing is helping me pack her lunch in the morning. I really do feel like I am entering a new phase in my mommy life. I have never had more fun shopping than I did buying school clothes for her. Stupidly,I had to get the nicest stuff for her school supplies, decorated # 2 pencils, name brand crayons and markers...come to find out (from all of the veteran mothers) that all of the brand new beautiful school supplies I just bought get dumped into big community use buckets for anyone and everyone to use.

She hopefully has made a new friend with a sweet little Spanish girl she sits next to named Lizbet. I think the whole thing is adorable!!
