Oh the power of prayer

Just a quick note to remind myself how amazing things happen through the power of prayer. Sometimes it seems that you know you are doing things right but you don't feel like things are going your way, and then you remember that it isn't our watch that He goes by but His. It is truly wonderful to have things fall into place and know that everything is going to work out great! We are very blessed, and I hope that I can remember that each and every day!

So, for the last 3 days we have had our house up for rent. In those last 3 days I have had more people call and want to come over to see the house than we ever had in the first 3 months it was for sale. So I have been a crazy mama trying to keep this house clean 24/7 and these 3 things are what keep me sane.....

I have been sewing some stuff for the lady over at Real Deals and she is inquiring about a painter. Which is something I absolutely can not do! :(

She wants someone who can paint on the walls in her new garden room. A brick wall, a rod iron gate, butterfly's, ect. She needs "about $100.00 dollars worth of work."

Any time we step out our front door, even if it is just the 30 seconds it takes us to get into the car, my kids all run to these spots and do this:

Today's weather was amazing! It was so hot and beautiful we spent all day outside. I just love waking up and being able to open your windows and smell the warm weather! To good to pass up so we threw on our suits and got wet!

confession.....

.....I have been in the same clothes for 2 days.....I stink a little...I skipped my lunch.....my fingers are sore...and I am pretty sure my dishes can't get any higher in my sink. Why?

These are why:

I can't stop SEWING, it has become a full blown addiction! ( I may have to have a 1 to 1 with the bish.)

...hehe! I have had tonz of orders for CTR capes this month and baby showers and Easter purses and a birthday present for a Littlest Pet Shop-aholic! I heart sewing!!!! I am such a nerd.

Easter

My Grandma kicked the week of Easter off with a fun package for the kids and a puzzle of the Savior. What a great gift idea for an Easter basket!! Thanks GiGi.

Later in the week we went on an Easter egg hunt with a bunch of other kiddo's and ate TONZ of candy, colored eggs and had a great lesson on the Resurrection of Christ. What a great time to sit kids down and really try to explain the true meaning of Easter.

On the MOVE!!!

So we are finally moving!! In May.

No, we haven't sold our house but we are to tired of waiting so we are gonna rent it next month if we don't sell this month! So if anyone knows of someone who wants to rent that would make good renters send em' my way!

I was wondering if any of you local ladies out there could help me out? I need as many lanterns as I can borrow for decorations for Stake Women's Conference, April 18 at 10:00 am. I promise no harm to them I just need to borrow them for that Saturday's luncheon. I'll make sure your name is on the bottom of the lantern so you get it right back!! Split peas = yummy trick

When I was growing up my mom made sure she made a big deal out of fun Holiday's,

(you know exactly what I am talking about if you have ever been to her house around Christmas time)

so I have really tried to keep that tradition going for my family. Being April fools, and after such an awesome one last year (thanks Sara) I decided to have Grandma and Grandpa Mortenson over for a April fools dinner. First we had these.....

Split Pea and ham Soup and...Mashed potatoes and gravy with lots of butter!!So we had desert first and then we had to pick a numbered sac that had our utensils in it that we would be eating and drinking with, like... an ice cream scoop and a pie plate..... Some tongs and a measuring cup.....
Or maybe a spatula and a cake pan.

All in all it was a good time and...a real big mess!!
