Ellie turned in her very first -do at home- school project. She had to pick a person in history and make a "Can Character" of that person. They were to take a big can with a lid and turn it into the face of the character they did research on. Ellie picked Babe Ruth.
She choose a huge plastic container so we had a lot of space to work with. She cut out all the strings for the stripes and all the fabric and I helped her hot glue everything on.
She had to find all kinds of info on Babe and put it all down in sentences and then place them inside the can.
You should have seen her face when she took it into school today. As of right now...she thinks school projects are pretty fun!
I was given a Silhouette cutter machine to review and when it first came I really didn't think I would use it much, mostly because it is known for being more of a vinyl cutting machine. {not a really big vinyl fan}
But they have recently come out with a bunch of fun extras for using fabric. My ears perked right up!! I have made about 4 things already including Valentines for Macie's friends and a Valentines outfit. This machine is A. Ma. Zing!!!
