Easter in Logan!

We went to Logan to see Auntie Lauren for Easter. It was a really good trip and we had lots of fun with Glen and Temple and Nana. We even were able to visit a little with Karen and her boys and Eric and Shelia and there family. It was a great little Mortenson Reunion. Sadly, we forgot all of our Easter stuff in Klamath so Auntie Temple lent us some baskets and Daddy made a quick trip to Smiths! Easter was saved.

Macie loves to pull herself up on everything now and walk across it..... and then she usually comes crashing down. These are her new rain boots!!

Melt my Heart!

My little Connor lives in a girly world, being at home with 3 girls all the time, and so I try whenever I can to make sure I boy things up a little like..that's handsome,( instead of pretty), or go get your underwear, (instead of panties), or "costumes" instead of "dress up's". So, today was extreamly stressful and I was in sweats, and my hair in braids, my house is a mess, and I finally get dinner on the table and sit down to take a breath and I look over at my sweet son with his his chin resting in his palms staring right at me. I laughed and said what Connor and he smiled back his crooked smile and said " Mommy... your hansome."

A great big Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for getting passes for their grandkids to the imagination center for the whole summer!!! We had soooo much fun. We can't wait to come back. Gabe

Cousin love

This weekend we went to visit Grandma Pam and grandpa Bud in Medford. Kim and Jackson flew in for a week and Heather and Kara both came with their kiddos too. So, my kids were in Cousin Heaven!!! We all had so much fun, Scott put on a mini track meet in the back yard and the weather couldn't have been nicer! We love our family!!

I have to say that my mom has become an amazing carseat...... coveress. She just recovered this carseat for Macie and I wanna show everyone I run into cause it is so stinkin' cute!! You are awesome mom.

Across the Universe!

I don't know if any of you have seen the movie Across the Universe... I will say the movie is a little crazy wacko but the soundtrack is really awesome. Kara I think of you and know you would really like it. My favorite song is #2 I wanna hold your hand. It's soooo good.

Latest Update!!

Ok, so just a quick update. Ellie got to be a junior cheerleader for the KU boys last week. She went to a week long cheer camp and learned a cheer and a dance that she performed on friday night. She got to do it with her best friends Millie and Marly. And though cheerleading is not something I want Ellie to nessesarly be into, she had a blast and loves being at her daddys school! The pics came out terrible, the lighting was really bad and they were way far away.... I know nothing about the settings on my camera!

This is a picture of Ellie and some of her papers from preschool. Man that girl loves to learn! And I really think she is learning so much. My favorite thing is when eating breakfast Ellie will point out the vowels on the Cheerios box. I love it. She is growing up so fast!
