When I think of my sweet 5 year old daughter, an image of a cute, chubby cheeked, innocent little baby comes to my mind. Yet, this morning while getting her ready for school she installed the fear of how fast she is growing up into me with just one sentence...
"Mommy, when can I wear a bra?"
After picking my jaw up off of the floor I thought to myself, I don't even know if she has ever said the word bra let alone knew what one was and wanted to wear it to school. And to make things worse, she tells me that one of her friends wears a bra to school. AAHHHH!! I am SO not ready for all of this!!

Why would any kindergartner wear a bra?? OH Jaime...what did you say???
I told her she could wear one when she needed one, and if she takes after my side of the family...that won't be for a REALLY long time!!!
Oh my how she has grown! Every day seems to zip by WAY TOO FAST! Let's hope that your response will satisfy her for another 8 years or so... huh? Oh, the joys of being a mommy!
Payton is eight and wears a bra. Well...it's not really a bra, but more of a sports bra t shirt. It started with her wearing undershirts, and now she thinks she can't go with out something under there. Whatever? Now we know where to send the hand me down little girl bra's:)
Jaime, If she takes after the Olsen side of the family you might be shopping for her really soon!!! HAHA!! She might be giving YOU her hand-me-downs!!HAHAHA!!
Jaime: Next question will be "when can I date?" or "can I have the car tonight?" It will happen sooner than you think. So keep blogging and enjoying your little ones - they do grow up so fast!!!
Haha! That is so funny!
LOL! Mackenzie wants to grow up too fast too. the other day she was wearing a shirt that had gathers down the center front and it made it a little poofy...and she said to me " Look, mom! I am getting breasts!"
