This is the letter that came home with Ellie on Thursday and I was so excited. Her first project!! She was asked to build a trap for a Leprechaun. How fun! So I had her think about how she wanted to do it. We were suppose to use household items and Ellie liked the idea of using an egg carton that she could close on the leprechaun when he was lured inside. We tried all weekend to think of something, knowing that every other trap would have gold and rainbows, and this is the finished project!!
Who doesn't love a good garage sale right! Ellie said that morning before school that "Leprechaun's are little so it's hard to find little clothes....I think the Leprechaun is going to get a hat for his girlfriend!"

What a fun, clever way to catch a leprechaun! I'll bet it was the coolest trap of all. I just love it.
